  The Lands End of Portugal  - We took a private taxi to this most easterly point of mainland Europe that wasn't far. It was very much like visiting Lands End in the UK with great views... read more of the coast and the waves crashing onto the shore.
On the return journey to Lisbon we called for lunch at a first class sea food restaurant set into the cliff's. Much like visiting a Cornish cliff side restaurant with friendly staff and small cosy sections.
